Lou Barletta's statement about the F&M/Times Shamrock poll

U.S. Congressional candidate Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta issued the following statement about the poll conducted by Franklin & Marshall College/Times Shamrock Newspapers:

"Obviously, I'm very encouraged by the results of the first public poll conducted in my race. Those results seem to coincide with what I've been hearing all across the 11th Congressional District: The hardworking people of northeastern Pennsylvania want a new congressman. They are tired of the same old, embarrassing antics and the dismal lack of leadership in Congress and they want change. Our internal polls have shown that, and this public poll validates the results we've seen. People know that change is on the way, and they're excited about that.

"Still, I am not going to take any vote for granted. I'm going to continue to work hard for every single vote. I'm extremely grateful for the support I've received so far, and I look forward to the last seven weeks of this campaign. I've felt a lot of momentum ever since I announced my candidacy in February, and I will continue to push hard to bring home a victory in November."
